The Council of the Network of European Environmental Prosecutors approved the request for observer status in the Kingdom of Morocco.
According to a press release from the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the granting of this status to the country shows that Morocco and the institution of the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor's Office are committed to the environmental protection and the criminalization of offenses in environmental matters, in accordance with the royal will to support all initiatives relating to environmental protection.
